Studio About

DATA Arquitectura believes in an architecture that connects origin and vision. Rooted in landscape and matter, it places everyday life at the centre and evolves through culture, references and new perspectives. This philosophy takes shape through four pillars: Land, Raw Materials, Intimacy and Perspective.

We don't share a style; we share a way of looking. We understand each project as a unique response to its context, far from hermetic formulas and aesthetics. We listen, interpret and adapt. Because every place, every client and every way of inhabiting deserves its own architecture.

For us, architecture is not only what you see. It is also what you live. Light, the passage of time, daily rituals, materials that age with dignity and the stories that inhabit spaces are all part of the narrative. That is why we communicate our projects from an intimate, human and editorial perspective: less focused on the object and more on the life that fills it with meaning. Intimacy as an experience of space. We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals who understand the seriousness and responsibility of our work.

This new-build shopping centre settles into the landscape with subtlety. Through the free-plan parking level, the building reduces its apparent volume and draws closer to a human scale, blurring the boundary between architecture and the mountains that surround it.

TSM

Interior design for the TOHOKU STANDARD MARKET store, developed as part of architect Keiji Ashizawa's team. This intervention repurposes furniture from Ishinomaki Furniture, reworking it to create display spaces that celebrate the honesty of the material.

This project involves the renovation of a ground-floor space in the centre of Puigcerdà, developed with our International Partner Keiji Ashizawa Design, responsible for the furniture. Wood and iron run throughout, organised around a central bar that doubles as kitchen and counter, shaping a space built for sharing.

"How long is forever? Sometimes, just one second" — Alice in Wonderland. The shop window becomes a small scenic box built to showcase STAY's emblematic Artoy. Pink, a colour of innocence and the ethereal, lets it float within a world of snow and magic, drawing passers-by into a dreamlike moment.

CAL

CAL

The renovation of CALDEA, probably the most emblematic building in Andorra. This thermal centre is rethought from top to bottom around one clear idea: water as the driving element. Without touching the existing angular façades, read as ice, the interior responds with sinuous, organic forms.

This building on Carrer Doctor Mitjavila stands on a compact 45m² plot in the heart of the city. It houses a restaurant on the ground floor, hotel rooms across the upper storeys, and a bar on the rooftop, stacking a full programme within a narrow urban footprint.

The renovation of Hotel Les Closes takes shape through a restaurant with an intimate character, built with noble materials. The project seeks to respect the values of the vegetarian restaurant itself, creating a warm, considered setting for its guests.

Outdoor pools, sun terrace and landscaped grounds make up the construction of the landscape within Caldea's thermal spa, where water, stone and vegetation are composed together to create a natural, unhurried outdoor setting for guests to unwind.

GLI

GLI

A single-family house that plays with contrast: a black volume grounds the composition against the surrounding landscape, while wood softens its presence and brings warmth to the interior. The result is a home that reads as solid and quiet from the outside, yet feels close and natural once inside.

FH1

FH1

A house designed to merge with its surroundings, opening itself to the landscape through generous points of light. Interior and exterior blur into one another, letting daylight shape the rhythm of the spaces throughout the day, from the softness of dawn to the warmth of dusk.

MFP

MFP

The renovation of a 15th-century farmhouse, where stone walls, weathered wood and corten steel are brought together in careful dialogue. The intervention respects the character of the original construction while introducing contemporary gestures that open the house to its surrounding landscape.

XDA

XDA

A single-family house set against the mountainside, its dark volume standing out with quiet precision. Large glazed openings and full-height windows draw the surrounding landscape inside, while stone at the base anchors the building firmly to the sloping terrain.

EMX

A multi-family building on Avinguda Meritxell, the country's most important commercial artery. The project brings together retail units, parking and housing within a single volume, responding to the intensity of its urban setting with a clear, efficient mix of uses.

PLP

PLP

A multi-family building with 60 dwellings across 10 storeys. The project's main concern is to soften its considerable volume through carefully chosen materials and strategically placed openings, breaking down the scale of the building and giving it a more human presence within the street.

RRO

RRO

A multi-family building built around the concept of coliving, combining a restaurant and shared common services with private dwelling units. Communal spaces become an extension of the home, encouraging encounter and exchange between residents, each with their own privacy.

COR

COR

A multi-family stone building, integrated into the traditional setting where it stands. Its stone-clad volume and modulated openings echo the surrounding architecture, grounding the building firmly within the character and rhythm of the mountain landscape around it.
